Apple is rumored to launch its next-gen iPhone on September 9, but Samsung is jumping on its game on September 3 with a rumored Galaxy Note 4 reveal.

We only just reported that Apple would be unveiling the 4.7-inch version of its iPhone 6 on September 9, but Samsung is jumping in early with a rumored reveal date for its Galaxy Note 4: September 3, six days earlier than Apple's rumored unveiling on the next-gen iPhone.

Samsung has reportedly sent out invites to the media, asking if they were "ready" and to "note the date". We should expect that it's for the Galaxy Note 4, which is going to be a monster of a smartphone according to the various leaks and rumors. Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 will take place in three cities across the world simultaneously: Berlin, Beijing and New York.
