Google launched its Chromecast device a year ago, and now we're beginning to hear about just how many of the $35 HDMI streaming dongles the company has sold. This number is somewhere in the "millions" according to the Mountain View-based search giant.

The company has said that it has tracked over 400 million casts, with Chromecast selling in over 20 countries, and 30,000 stores across the world. Google held back the Chromecast to just Amazon and its Google Play store for months so that it could build up inventory to blast it to retailers, but now that it has, it has gone on to great success.

So much so, that Google is offering a free 90-day Google Music All Access subscription to anyone who owns a Chromecast, and isn't already an All Access member. This offer is valid through to September 30, 2014.
