If you are a fan of alternate OS smartphones, a new Firefox OS device is up for pre-order. The smartphone is called the Flame and can be pre-ordered now for $170. That purchase price includes free shipping. Mozilla made the phone in conjunction with T2Mobile.

T2Mobile builds, distributes, and updates the Firefox OS device. Flame is the reference device for Firefox OS smartphones and is a developer phone aiming at showing devs what the operating system can do. The smartphone has a Snapdragon 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch screen, rear camera with a 5MP resolution and a 2MP front camera.

The smartphone also has 8GB of memory, a microSD card slot, and up to 1GB of RAM. Other features include A-GPS, dual SIM support, and an 1800 mAh battery. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 are also built into the device.
