Ubisoft's marketing for Watch Dogs reaches new high

Ubisoft uses some clever marketing to show off the hacking in Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs launches in just a couple of days time, with Ubisoft pulling out all of the tricks for its marketing. The video below is actually quite a good way of marketing the game, using actors with normal off-the-street people thinking they've just had their smartphones modified.

There's a 24/7 smartphone repair shop that adds a hacking application, and then they use this application in the real-world to do some pretty fun stuff. It's a great way of Ubisoft to show off its game to the general public!

Anthony is a long time PC enthusiast with a passion of hate for games to be built around consoles. With FPS gaming since the pre-Quake days, where you were insulted if you used a mouse to aim, he has been addicted to gaming and hardware ever since. Working in IT retail for 10 years gave him great experience with high-end, custom-built PCs. His addiction to GPU technology is unwavering, and with next-gen NVIDIA GPUs about to launch alongside 4K 144Hz HDR G-Sync gaming monitors and BFGDs (65-inch 4K 120Hz HDR G-Sync TVs) there has never been a time to be more excited about technology.
