It's quite the week for sneaker fans, with Nike offering up exclusive LeBron James kicks to NBA 2K14 gamers, but now its Adidas' turn. Adidas is to soon release a smartphone app that will let you customize your sneakers with your Instagram pictures.
The new Photo Print application will launch in August, and will be made available to both Android and iOS devices. You'll need to purchase a specific pair of Adidas shoes, the ZX Flux sneakers. These kicks are part of the customizable miAdidas brand that lets you design and purchase your own colorways. The company hasn't talked much about the app, but I'm sure we'll see more on the Photo Print app in the near future.
Just how much will a customized pair of Instagram selfie-sporting shoes set you back? An estimated $200, up from the regular ZX Flux sneakers which retail for around $90.
