Godzilla 2 announced, after a massive opening weekend on the first monster movie.

After a monster opening weekend haul at the box office of $103 million internationally and $93 million in the US alone, Warner Bros. and Legendary have announced they're making a sequel to Godzilla.

We don't know if Gareth Edwards will once again sit in the directors chair, but after his work on the Godzilla reboot, I would be surprised if he gets replaced. We should now more about the sequel as time goes on, but for now we don't know whether it would be more monster fights and destruction, or less, with more story-based exploration.
