Iron Data founder Jeffrey Smock has been charged with felony assault and will be arranged on May 16, following an arrest after a road rage incident. Smock allegedly was the aggressor following an incident where he accused a driver of mistakenly hitting him with the truck's side mirror - and then promptly beat the driver unconscious.

A motorcycle officer heard vehicle horns and yelling, then arrived at the scene to find Smock standing near someone "lying in the street with blood on his face and on the ground near him." The driver was hospitalized with "serious injuries," but was released shortly after the incident.

Unfortunately, it's not uncommon to hear about road rage incidents between drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists - with unsafe behaviors exhibited by each group at varying times. Share the road and keep everyone safe, folks.
