As with out previous hands-on post, Johannes Knapp is back again with another new product from Acer. This time he takes a look at Acer's new Iconia Tab 7, a 7-inch tablet with HD resolution. A Mediatek processor is on board as is Android 4.4 Kitkat. Johannes says the Iconia Tab has a 6-hour battery life.

The biggest feature of this new tablet though, is its ability to function as a phone by adding in a SIM card of your choice. Acer has yet to mention any pricing on this little tablet, but rumors are floating around that say it will be priced less than the Google Nexus 7.
