Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series hits the US May 1, pricing announced

Samsung has announced official pricing and availability for its new Galaxy Tab 4 series of tablets.

Earlier this month specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series of tablets and some specifications leaked online. This week we have official word from Samsung that all thee tablets in that range will hit the US on May 1. That is only a handful of days from now.

Samsung will offer the Galaxy Tab 4 in 7, 8, and 10.1-inch sizes. The tablets all share pretty much the same specifications with the main difference being screen size and battery. All use a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and the screen resolution for all is 1280 x 800.

Android 4.4 is the operating system for all of the tablets. Internal storage is 16GB and all of the Tab 4 family has 1.5GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is also integrated. Samsung has announced official pricing for the US this week. The Tab 4 7.0 will sell for $199.99, the Tab 4 8.0 will sell for $269.99, and the Tab 4 10.1 will sell for $349.99.
