Nintendo 3DS gamers can get Mario Golf: World Tour May 2

Nintendo announced the launch of a new Mario golf game for 3DS and 2DS gamers that will launch with ten courses and lots of multiplayer action.

Nintendo has announced a new video game that will launch on the 3DS portable game console early next month called Mario Golf: World Tour. The official launch date for that game is May 2 and it will be supported on the Nintendo 2DS as well. At launch, the game will ship with ten golf courses to choose from.

Those ten courses will have 126 holes for gamers to play through. Nintendo is also building in a number of multiplayer modes including regional and worldwide tournaments. Nintendo will also be rolling out new DLC for the game with the first new content launching alongside the game on May 2.

That DLC is called the Mushroom Pack and brings two more courses and Toadette as a playable character. The next DLC pack will land later in May bringing two more sources and Nabbit as a playable character. The final DLC will land in June with Rosalina as a playable character and the last two courses.
