Despite some negative reviews of the film, the studio is reportedly moving forward with Prometheus 2. That is a working title for the film at this point. Reports indicate that the movie will enter production this fall.

The release date for the film is March 4, 2016. The person writing the original script for the movie was Jack Paglen, the writer of Transcendence. That script needed more polishing and sources say that Michael Green was brought in to finish things.

Green was brought in by Ridley Scott to polish the script for the new Blade Runner as well. The new film is said to feature multiple Davids, the android played by Michael Fassbender in the original. I hope this film will more closely tie in to the Alien franchise we all love.
