Computer hardware company MSI today announced the GS60 Ghost and GS70 Stealth gaming notebooks, with 15-inch and 17-inch models available, as the gaming notebook market continues to heat up.
The GS60 Ghost uses the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M, while the GS70 Stealth ships with the GeForce GTX 870M. Powered by the Intel Core i7-4700HQ, 1920x1080 resolution, with 128GB mSATA HDD, plus either 750GB or 1TB of additional storage, with 12GB or 16GB DDR3L RAM. The machines run Microsoft Windows 8.1.
"The GS60 and GS70 Stealth answers portable gaming prayers by packing smoking speeds and deadly graphics into featherlike notebooks," said Andy Tung, MSI Pan America CEO, in a statement. "NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 800M Series graphics gives the GS Series incredible graphics processing ability, translating into an ultra-realistic and immersive gaming experience."
Both gaming laptops have the SteelSeries full-color backlight keyboard utilizing the SteelSeries Engine with Anti-Ghosting capabilities.
The GS60 has a starting MSRP of $1699, while the GS70 will be available for $1899.
