The new updates include the ability to get more than 100 apps on the home page of the console. Users will be able to get 500 apps on the home page after applying the update. Perhaps the biggest of the feature updates has to do with content management.

Users can browse content on the memory card by content type and delete content from the memory card. A new calendar application allows you to sync calendars with friend and with Google Calendar as well. The last of the new features is the ability to send and receive voice messages using the messages application on the portable console. Messages can be exchanged with other Vita users and PS4 users.
