Anticipation of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone is escalating, with AT&T opening up pre-orders today, and T-Mobile will follow suit on Monday.
The S5 will be released on April 11.
AT&T offers the phone now for $200 with a signed two-year service agreement, though will sell the phone contract-free for $650. Meanwhile, under its installment plan, T-Mobile will sell the device for $660 broken up into monthly payments.
It's unknown when Verizon Wireless and Sprint will open up pre-orders, though both carriers are expected to sell the phone.
Samsung is the top smartphone manufacturer in the world, and its popular Galaxy line of smartphones is the leading factor. Both the S3 and S4 have proven to be popular, and Android fans seem excited about the S5.
