People are getting fooled by a Grand Theft Auto V "beta" on the PC
There is no Grand Theft Auto V beta for the PC, but that hasn't stopped people falling for it.
Grand Theft Auto V hasn't even been announced for the PC yet, but there is a scam going around acting as the beta for GTA V, with some people unfortunately falling for it.
An e-mail has been going around teasing people to click a URL and download a .zip file, which contains the Grand Theft Auto V beta... or what it wants people to think. Instead, they're downloading malware. The e-mail itself uses Rockstar imagery, and a fancy banner, but comes in plain text explaining: "You invited beta tester GTAV to Windows."
