- HIS Excalibur 9600XT TURBO

HIS (makers of ATI Excalibur gfx cards) have just sent us an image of their upcoming 9600XT TURBO with "Ice-Blue LED light iCooler". No other supporting info on actual specs yet but I am lead to believe it sports slightly faster memory, and supposedly better cooling too. More info on this as it becomes available.

- Transcend Press Releases

Two press releases from Transcend today, firstly announcing their 1GB DDR400 Registered DIMM for AMD Opteron processors. More info on this by grabbing the full PR here (remembering to right click, choose "Save target as").

Transcend proudly announces TS128MDR72V4A3, 1GB DDR400 Registered DIMM. This memory supports the newest AMD Opteron processors. AMD Opteron, with HyperTransport Technology, allows companies a migration path to 64-bit architecture without sacrificing performance in their existing 32-bit applications.

Secondly, they've also announced their new Radeon 9600SE gfx card. For more details, just right click and "Save target as" here to obtain the full PR.

Initially developed for the Radeon 9600 Pro, Transcend's 9600SE graphic card is powered by the ATI Radeon 9600SE graphic processing unit (GPU). ATI Radeon 9600 Series products are focused on providing customers with superior 3D and 2D performance for gaming and business.
