MSI has just unveiled its new GS60 Gaming Notebook at CeBIT 2014 and TweakTown was on hand to check it out.
CeBIT 2014 - MSI has just unveiled its next generation of gaming notebooks and its new GS60 is the crowing jewel of the line. TweakTown's Johannes Knapp was on hand for the launch and got a chance to check out the new GS60 "Ghost" first hand. The GS60 features an aluminum chassis with a beautiful and sleek brushed finish, but that is by far not the best quality of this notebook.
The most impressive feature of the GS60 "Ghost" is its optional non-glossy display that features a resolution of 2,880 x 1,620, while some are calling this "3K", the official term for this resolution is WQHD+. The Notebook is being billed as one of the thinnest and lightest gaming notebooks on the market, and is also one of the most powerful. Configurations include Intel processors up to Core i7, Dual SSD's plus a high-capacity HDD, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The GPU is NVIDIA based and is expected to be based on Maxwell architecture.
