Pioneer Electronics DJE-2000 and DJE-1500 in-ear headphones unveiled
Pioneer has unveiled new in-ear DJ headphones aimed at music lovers who want sound quality without the bulk of over the ear.
Pioneer electronics makes all sorts of gear for pro and amateur DJs alike. Much of that gear is the controllers and other decks used to make music. Pioneer also has a full line of headphones that are aimed at the DJ. Most DJ headphones we see have big over the ear cans that are bulky.
If you are the sort that prefers a more compact and comfortable in-ear headphone, Pioneer has unveiled two new offerings that are just for you. The headphones include the DJE-2000 and DJE-1500. The high-end DJE-2000 has a hybrid 2-way driver that is able to produce deep bass in the back driver and mid/high range sounds in the front.
The DJE-1500 has a single driver design with a CCAW voice coil and a speaker diaphragm made of a ceramic powder coating. Both headphones come with multiple ear tips for comfortable and correct sizing. Both sets of headphones also have detachable cables.
The 1500 has an adjustable housing with a rotatable housing that can be adjusted for comfort. The headphones will ship in April with the DJE-2000 selling for $359 and the DJE-1500 selling for $189.
