XFX is in large known for its high-end discrete video cards, but today the company has taken its first step down the path of top-quality gaming chassis. This morning the company announced the launch of its all-new Type 1 Bravo mid-tower ATX chassis that is built with the serious gamer in mind. Minimalistic in design yet strikingly beautiful, the Type 1 Bravo is a refreshing take on the mid-tower chassis.
The Type 1 Bravo features a 200mm fan up front while a 140mm LED-lit fan resides in the exhaust location at the rear. Room for five 2.5-inch storage drives and three 3.5-inch storage drives are present and feature a tool-less design that ensures easy and convenient drive installation for the end-user. The case also supports three 5.25-inch drives, as well as full length video cards.
XFX says that the Type 1 Bravo measures in at 518mm x 232mm x 562mm in size and only weighs just 10.4 kilograms. On top of the chassis, four USB 3.0 ports are featured along with the normal compliment of HD audio ports. XFX has priced its first gaming chassis at just $129, which is not bad for a case sporting all of these features.
