SteelSeries working with Tobii on eye-tracking hardware

Eye-tracking hardware is on its way, with SteelSeries partnering up with Tobii.

It looks like another "future of gaming" is about to be unveiled, with SteelSeries teaming up with Tobii on some impressive eye-tracking technology, which also makes the AI enemies in a game harder.

With the technology tracking your eye, Tobii describes it as "passive gaze triggers" that would let you pick up an in-game item, or begin talking to a character in the game. These actions normally require a button press. Tobii has the hardware up for pre-order, with EyeX Engine dev kit available for $95.
