This definitely sprung up on me, but Polaroid is set to unveil a new 4K/Ultra HD TV at CES 2014 in just a few days time. Polaroid won't be making the TV of course, that will be done by Empire Electronics.
The new 4K TV will be priced at under $1000, and come in at a hefty 50 inches. The new 50-inch 4K TV from Polaroid will feature three HDMI inputs, with the company claiming it will feature "the highest quality picture resolution at the best price." It looks very similar to the Seiki Digital 4K panel, which isn't a bad thing at all, as it has a similar price.
