Motorola has just given everyone a nice present for the new year. Starting today, the Motorola Moto X retails for just $399 off contract when purchased through the Motorola website, or any carriers who offer the phone for sale.

To refresh everyone's memory on the Moto X, the Android-based smartphone features a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 OLED display and is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro running at 1.7GHz. 2GB of RAM is present to keep things running nice and smooth, while 16GB or 32GB of internal storage is present for keeping all of your apps, photos, and files safe. Photographic duties are handled by a 10-megapixel RGBC camera that features Quick Capture mode which helps you avoid missing important shots.
