- Logitech Z-5300 Speaker System

DesignTechnica have gotten their hands on Logitech's latest 5.1 set of speakers dubbed the Z-5300's. Although they arn't up there with the likes of the amazing z680's, it would seem quite clear they are unbeatable value.

- 3D Performance with Call of Duty

The folks over at FiringSquad have tested and documented the performance of a stack of various nVidia based cards using Infinity Ward's popular title "Call of Duty". Cards ranging from the Geforce2 Ti through to the 5900 Ultra were rounded up. They also have a seperate article in place using ATI based cards here.

Benchmarking with Call of Duty is similar to Quake 3; in fact many of the same console commands are present in both games (timedemo 1 is used to invoke CoD's benchmarking mode). We simply joined an online server and recorded demos. For this article the demo we're using comes from the map mp_powcamp.
