Notebook and server specialist Eurocom launched the Panther 5SE mobile server, a powerful Intel Xeon-powered device designed for server virtualization. The Panther 5SE has four memory slots, supporting up to 32GB of RAM; four HDD/SSD in RAID up to 6TB storage; and supports the Intel Xeon E5-2600 or Xeon E5-2600 v2 series line of CPU. The mobile server supports Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2, 2012RD, Red Hat 6.4 Enterprise Linux, VMware, or Linux. Since the Panther 5SE is designed as a mobile server, it weighs in at a whopping 12.1 pounds.

Eurocom designed the Panther 5SE to support up 20-50 workers in a single mobile device, pushing the boundaries of a traditional server.
