Apple to require all apps to conform to iOS 7 standards by February 1st 2014.

Beginning February 1st, all apps submitted to the Apple App Store must be optimized for iOS 7, and those not iOS 7 ready will be rejected. This basically means that all apps must be built using the latest version of Xcode 5, and feature specific optimization for iOS 7.

The official announcement from apple follows: "Starting February 1, new apps and app updates submitted to the App Store must be built with the latest version of Xcode 5 and must be optimized for iOS 7. Learn more about preparing your apps by reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines."
