New Web Poll #16 news post from TweakTown's online news computing and technology content pages

Last week we asked you which CPU you prefer - AMD Athlon 64 or Intel Pentium 4 EE. Like we suspected, the new 64-bit line of desktop processors from AMD proved to be more popular among TweakTown readers, taking close to two thirds of the votes of the nearing two thousand people who voted.

This week with the recent release of the newest patch of 3DMark03 (as written about here) which is designed to reduce the effect on graphics related driver optimizations by such companies as ATI and NVIDIA - but of course not limited to these two brilliant GPU makers, who sometimes add optimizations here and there (such as reduced image quality) which results in their card scoring higher against the competition. So, do you accept these types of optimizations or not? Let us know what you think by voting using the web poll to the left!
