It's been almost 2 months since we first got a glimpse of the Nexus 5 during the Android 4.4 announcement, and if this mornings rumors are true we will see Google officially launch the smartphone in about an hour. A writer for Android Police announced via Google+ that several inside sources have tipped him off that Google would be launching the Nexus 5 this morning.
"Several previously reliable sources have confirmed that the Nexus 5 (I have no information about KitKat, sorry, just sticking to N5) launch is indeed scheduled for tomorrow, October 31st." He wrote on his Google+ page. After cruising the web this morning, it does appear several reliable sites are reporting the same and citing their own sources. The launch is said to take place between 8AM PST and 11AM PST and that puts us at about 30 minutes out from the event at its earliest. Stay tuned to TweakTown for full coverage of the Nexus 5 launch.
