Today, a new report from the Wall Street Journal has been released that is suggesting that HTC will unveil it's 5.9-inch HTC One MAX phablet on October 15th. The report also seems to confirm that the extra large smartphone will contain a fingerprint scanner which will be located on the back of the device, just below the camera lens.
If other recent reports are correct then the HTC One MAX will take the throne as king of the phablets with a full HD 1080p display, a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and as much as 3GB of RAM. A 3,300 MAH battery will also be present. Unfortunately other rumors are suggesting that the device will feature a combo aluminum and plastic housing similar to the HTC One Mini.
