A new Motorola tablet has been spotted in an advertisement video for Verizon on YouTube. The video is titled "Verizon Droid - The Drop" and portrays a spy-esque document drop gone wrong. At a point in the video, we see a glimpse of the back of a new Motorola tablet.
The tablet appears to be of the 10-inch class, which aligns with statements made by Motorola's CEO Dennis Woodside from earlier this month. The tablet is said to feature design cues and technologies seen in the company's flagship smartphone, the Moto X, and will feature Motorola's eight-core X8 processor.
Unfortunately with Verizon's CEO announcing that there will never be another unlimited data plan from the company due to its customers being greedy bandwidth hogs, buying a premium tablet with an LTE connection from Verizon is kind of pointless. Sure, it will most likely function fine on Wi-Fi, but then just buy the Wi-Fi only version and save yourself the money.
