Mushkin announces the launch of its long awaited Scorpion Deluxe PCIe solid state drive.

Today, Mushkin announced the launch of its highly anticipated Scorpion Deluxe PCIe solid state drive. Mushkin says that the new Scorpion Deluxe outpaces its competitors in both speed and performance thanks to quad SandForce SF-2281 controllers and unthrottled IOPS. The new drive clocks in at 2150 MB/s read and 1900MB/s write, making it an extreme performer in any system you throw it in.

The new Scorpion Deluxe is available in 240GB, 480GB, 960GB, and 1920GB capacities, of which all boast just over 100,000 4K read and write IOPS and 1 million hours of MTBF. The PCIe SSD also includes a three-year warranty and is available now in the US at and will roll out worldwide on September 16 at select electronic retailers.
