Microsoft wants your iPad, will give you $200 for it

Microsoft will give you $200 for your iPad, but wants you to purchase a Surface tablet instead

If you've got an older iPad, you could consider trading it in, with Microsoft offering gift cards starting from $200 for your used iPad. The Redmond-based giant is offering this deal at participating company stores, that will let you trade in a "gently used iPad 2, 3, or 4."

So don't even think about trading in that cracked, dented iPad, because Microsoft wants your 'gently used' slate. In order to take advantage of this deal, you'll have to complete the trade-in in person at a Microsoft store. The promotion started on September 5 and runs through October 27. Considering Microsoft is launching the Surface 2 and Surface 2 Pro on September 23, you might want to wait a few days and see what the reveal is like, and consider switching to the dark (?) side.
