Today, Microsoft released an update to the company's OneNote app for iOS. The update brings in new functionality that allows the application to become fully standalone on the iPad. Microsoft says that many of its customers requested the ability to create new notebooks from within the app on the iPad, which led to this feature being added to this update.

Additionally, the company is adding a functionality that allows users to add, rename, and delete selections, which is achieved by tapping the desired selection title to bring up the options. Microsoft says that the update also fixes several bugs and improves overall performance. Head over to the App Store source listed below to download your copy today.
