Today Samsung announced that its monstrous sized phablet, the Galaxy Mega 6.3, which will soon arrive in Canada and bring along with it LTE connectivity and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Samsung is aiming the Galaxy Mega 6.3 at Canada's back-to-school season saying that it "it is the back-to-school accessory of choice."
No hardware changes have been made and device still features a 720p 6.3-inch screen and a dual-core 1.7GHz processor. 1.5GB of RAM is available alongside an 8-megapixel rear camera. Front imaging duties are handled by a 1.9-megapixel shooter and 16GB of built-in memory will be sure to store all of your photos. Additionally an microSD slot is available to increase file storage.
Wi-Fi, HSPA+, NFC and IR are available for connectivity while a 3200mAh battery keeps everything powered up. The phablet will be available at Rogers, Bell and TELUS and will each carry the LTE-enabled version. No information on pricing or a specific launch date was confirmed, we just know that it will arrive sometime in the coming weeks.
