Today, Plextor announced that it will be giving a sneak preview of their upcoming M6 SSD at the Flash Memory Summit and Exhibition that will be held next week on the days of August 13 through 15. Plextor says that the M6 will feature the next generation of the company\'s proprietary TrueSpeed technology that works alongside a Marvell 88SS9187 controller. This equates to enhanced performance and reliability.

The company says that the new drive also features the latest generation 19nm Toggle NAND flash manufactured by Toshiba. Topping things off, Plextor says that the M6 measures 5mm thick, making for an ultra-slim installation. Additionally, the company says it will display its complete lineup of storage solutions including the M5 Pro Extreme and M5S series alongside the M5M mSATA drives and the M.2 form-factor drive.
