Today we got a glimpse at the long anticipated Amber firmware update Windows Phone 8. Website WindowsMania somehow managed to get their hands on the official release of the Amber firmware update for the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920.

New features in the firmware include activation of the devices FM radio feature alongside some upgrades to the camera software which now allows images to be taken at ISO 800 all the way up to ISO 3200. More camera features include the ability to take shots in burst mode and then pick the perfect action shot out of the sequence of photos.

Inpatient users who would like to upgrade to the new firmware now can do so by visiting Source #2 & #3 below, but please be aware that unlike Over-The-Air updates, flashing your device with these ROMs will delete any and all data stored on your device. I recommend just waiting for the OTA update to release soon to avoid any headaches that may arise.
