If you've been wanting 3G connectivity on the super-cheap Raspberry Pi, your dreams could soon come true. A company called SparqEE are developing an add-on for Raspberry Pi that would allow a SIM card to be inserted.

The startup are going to launch their project on Kickstarter for crowdfunding, with the unique ability of selling users low-cost SIM cards that they could use in their Raspberry Pis since the company has "contracted with a worldwide SIM provider" that can deliver global SIM cards on the cheap.
