Lost Planet 3 will give you the chills, in real life

Lost Planet 3 takes in-game temperatures to a new level

Lost Planet 3 is nearly here, and we have Capcom's latest video on the game dubbed "Frozen To Death" for your viewing pleasure, below.

The video shows what happens to the human body when you're in a subzero environment. The ice planet of E.D.N. 3 has an average temperature of minus 120C, which is, well, extremely cold. Freezing to death begins quite quickly, with your normal body temperature of 37C only needing to drop a few degrees for a quick death to happen.

Lost Planet 3 reaches the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC later this month.

Anthony is a long time PC enthusiast with a passion of hate for games to be built around consoles. With FPS gaming since the pre-Quake days, where you were insulted if you used a mouse to aim, he has been addicted to gaming and hardware ever since. Working in IT retail for 10 years gave him great experience with high-end, custom-built PCs. His addiction to GPU technology is unwavering, and with next-gen NVIDIA GPUs about to launch alongside 4K 144Hz HDR G-Sync gaming monitors and BFGDs (65-inch 4K 120Hz HDR G-Sync TVs) there has never been a time to be more excited about technology.
