Counter-Strike is one of those games that really "started it all" with team-based, first-person shooters, and this is all thanks to a team that Minh Le was involved with.
Minh Le has a new game coming out, Tactical Intervention, and it launches on Steam next month. Tactical Intervention is like Counter-Strike, but on steroids: offering intense team-based tactical shooting gameplay, but throws in car chases, realistic locations including shopping malls, industrial parks, subway stations and skyscrapers.
Tactical Intervention arrives on Steam this August, and will be a free-to-play title. I don't think it looks that great, in the world of Battlefield 4 and the like, but CS fans might want to take it for a spin.
