Microsoft have announced that they're teaming up with resellers in their Microsoft Devices Program, which will see certain third-party resellers have the Surface available for purchase by commercial customers such as schools, business and universities.

The software giant have selected 10 companies for now, with these companies now allowed to sell Surface Pro and Surface RT devices. These 10 companies are: PCM, Softmart, CDW, CompuCom Systems, En Pointe Technologies, Insight Enterprises, Softchoice, SHI, PC Connection and Zones. Microsoft are pushing this program across the world, so this list should only continue to grow from here on out.

Microsoft also took the time to confirm that they're releasing a 256GB edition of the Surface Pro tablet, which will be made available in the US. It will sell for $1,199.99 with availability set at between 4-6 days.
