Windows Phone 8 fans could be getting what could amount to the holy grail of Windows Phones later this year if rumors are correct about HTCs upcoming plans. The Korean electronics giant is said to be preparing a Windows Phone 8 variant of its flagship One smartphone.
Citing undisclosed sources, Neowin is reporting that the phone, while not a true HTC One, will feature the same styling cues, aluminum frame and will feature a display in the 4-inch to 5-inch range. Beats audio will also be present alongside the company's UlrtaPixel camera technology.
This would make the third Windows phone from HTC within the last year with the 8X and 8S being launched during 2012. Industry analyst are expecting the phone to launch sometime this fall with an actual release date of mid December. No rumors on pricing have been released yet, but we expect it to be similar to the price of the Android HTC One.
