Rumors have long been circling of Nokia working on a PureView camera-based Windows Phone. Now, it appears those rumors were true. This morning, images leaked of Nokia's next flagship phone codenamed EOS.
While a new Windows phone would definitely be cool as the EOS is said to pack a whopping 41-megapixel PureView camera. GSM Arena obtained photos of the device, which show a very bulbous camera on the rear, while the front retains the typical Lumia appearance.
Another website also published photos of the red version of the EOS shell that appear to be taken straight from the production line. Word on the street is that the phone will come with the next Windows Phone 8 update and will include Nokia's "Amber" additions as well as a custom camera application for the PureView sensor.
