The Wi-Fi Hard Drive Dock will fit both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives and is able to connect to your 802.11 B/G/N wireless home network. It will allow you to access it from any Wi-Fi connected device including iOS and Android devices. This is possible through the use of VANTEC's NexStar Wi-Fi App that is available in the Apple App Store or on Google Play. Unfortunately, the NexStar will only allow simultaneous connections of up to three devices.

Additionally, the NexStar Wi-Fi Hard Drive Dock contains a USB 3.0 port for those times when you need a higher data transfer rate than what is available over Wi-Fi. The dock is capable of transfer speeds of up to 150MB/s, supports WEP/WPA/WPA2 encryption, and can handle hard drives up to 3TB in capacity.
