Huawei has confirmed through their Facebook page today that the often leaked Ascend P6 smartphone will be making an official launch on June 18. Huawei has scheduled an event in London for June 18, just two days before Samsung is set to take the stage in London, rumored to be launching Galaxy S4 variants.
On June 18th, Huawei will unleash an intimate experience to consumers. We do everything to the fullest. The Huawei Ascend P6 challenges all phones to be the thinnest, smallest, and one of the most compact smartphones with a screen that can rival it's competitors. Care to guess how large the screen to body ratio is?
We don't know the answer to the question, but we do know that it is said to be just 6.2mm thick, an impressive feat. This slimness will make it the thinnest phone on the market when it launches June 18. Other rumored specs are a 4.7-inch display. 1.5GHz quad-core, 2GB of RAM, and a 5MP camera.
We'll have all the latest on the device when Huawei takes to the stage June 18 from London.
