Sharp are preparing a new 7-inch tablet that is sure to impress, featuring a 1920x1200-pixel IGZO display and super-fast 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor. We should also see a 4,200mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 on top.
On the rear of the 7-inch tablet is an 8.1-megapixel camera, with a 2.1-megapixel snapper on the front. Connectivity has been looked after, with Wi-Fi, NFC and TV tuning capabilities as well as waterproofing and dustproofing. The Sharp Aquos Pad SH-08E is headed to Japan's NTT DoCoMo, and is capable of 100Mbps down and uploads of 37.5Mbps. There's no word on pricing just yet, but it should hit the Japan carrier at the end of July.
