Johannes Knapp's final video today from the Acer press event in New York is of the new Acer 7.9-inch Iconia A1 Android tablet.

This tablet comes installed with Android 4.2.2, and maybe the best of all is that it will only set you back $169, for what Johannes considers a solid and well-built unit, which he likens to the Apple iPad.

The screen features an XGA resolution which means 1024 x 768 and it comes with a quad-core CPU from Mediatek which is clocked at 1.2GHz. Other features include a microHDMI and microSD memory slot. It's not going to break any records for performance, but you can't argue with the asking price, either.
