During an earnings call with investors, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop let the proverbial cat out of the bag on when we will see the next Lumia device launched. During the call, Elop said "later this quarter a new Lumia device is anticipated to have hero status with a leading US carrier."
Elop never openly called the device by name, but we are almost positive that it will be the rumored Lumia 928, which will be available through Verizon via a partnership with Microsoft. Two more devices were also alluded to as well, although nothing was mentioned by name.
One is expected to be an aluminum frame Lumia, which is most likely designed to compete with HTC's One and Apple's iPhone 5. The other device is rumored to be an EOS Windows phone that will be a rehashed version of the company's Pureview 808, which features a super high-resolution camera.
