Zynga have launched their online poker and casino games in the UK this week, their first move away from social gaming and a very serious push into real-money gambling.

The company now offer online poker, slot machines, blackjack and other games. They've partnered up with, who are the world's largest publicly traded online gambling company, who saw a profit of $32 million in 2012. Barry Cottle, Zynga's chief revenue officer, took to the company blog, where he said:

Launching the download and web versions of Zynga's real money games for play in the UK is an exciting move to bring players the real money games they have been asking us for. We look forward to launching our social versions of real money games for players on Facebook and mobile in the UK throughout 2013.

Zynga shares rose considerably with the real-money gambling launch, seeing a nice 15% rise on the day.
