Havok have done the world of mobile game development some good today, announcing that their graphics engine, Physics and Animation suites, and their award-winning AI tools will now be free for "leading" mobile platforms.
This is all thanks to their new Project Anarchy initiative, where Havok being the team behind some of the technology built into today's biggest games such as Assassin's Creed, Halo, Skyrim and by some of the biggest game developers like EA, Bungie and more. The download includes game samples and tutorials for would-be game developers, as well as a complete online community to "encourage free sharing and collaborative development of extensions and customizations by the community."
Havok's Project Anarchy will launch later in the spring with more details to follow in the coming weeks.
