According to Kotaku's sources, the PlayStation 4 will be released for purchase in the United States sometime this November. According to their source, there are currently two SKUs--or models--planned for the PS4 and they will retail at $429 and $529, though those prices are subject to change.
The $429 price lines up with an earlier rumor that we brought you regarding the PlayStation 4, so it seems as though it is a likely price point for the entry PS4. We are expecting to see the official release of the console tomorrow evening at a press conference in New York, so hopefully more details will be shared then.
The source added that the PlayStation 4 will be able to be controlled from your cell phone or tablet. The mobile devices will be able to chat with PlayStation friends and purchase games, which will then automatically be downloaded to the console.
