Instead of just waiting in line to get the first devices off the press like the iPhone or iPad, Microsoft are putting the reverse actions on the first people lining up for Surface RT.
The first 100 people in line at each Microsoft store will receive a one-year subscription to Xbox Music Pass, for free. This is worth $99 if you were to buy it on its own. Microsoft have already sold out of their pre-order stock of Surface RT tablets online, which means the only way you're going to get one on launch day is lining up at a retail Microsoft Store.
Before the Surface RT launch, the Redmond-based company will have 60 stores open, which gives consumers a bunch of places they can line up for not only the Surface RT tablet, but the free Xbox Music Pass.
